Google 5 Star Review: We chose Clive as our photographer due to his style where we wouldn’t have to have lots of posed photographs. Clive really made our day fun and easy going and we love how he involved all of our guests. He really made us feel comfortable and as a result we were able to just enjoy the day. The photos have exceeded our expectations and they really take us back to the day, Clive was able to catch moments we may have missed or wouldn’t have remembered. We are really glad we chose Clive to be our wedding day photographer.

From the very first moment I arrived that sunny June morning at Curradine Barns, I could tell this was going to be a special day.

Lauren and Jack are one of those couples who instantly make you feel like you’ve known them for years. Warm, relaxed, full of smiles — and completely focused on making sure everyone around them had the best time. Their wedding felt less like a performance and more like a genuine celebration with the people who mattered most.

And that’s exactly what it was.

A Celebration Full of Life

With six bridesmaids, a flower girl, and lots of family around during the morning prep, the energy was high from the start. Everyone was determined to enjoy the day, and that spirit carried right through into the ceremony, the speeches, and beyond.

You could feel the love and laughter everywhere — from the gentle hugs to the full-belly laughs. There were moments of pure joy: Jack trying to hold it together as he saw Lauren walk in, and later the chaos (and comedy!) of wrangling all the groomsmen and bridesmaids for group shots. It was the kind of day where storytelling photography comes naturally, because no one felt the need to pose. They were simply being — and that’s always when the best moments happen.

Remembering Ryan

Among all the joy, there was also space for something deeply personal.

During the day, Jack and his friends paused to honour their close friend Ryan, who tragically lost his life to knife crime back in 2017. It was one of the most poignant parts of the day — especially hearing how they’ve continued to campaign for justice in Ryan’s name. That moment of silence, followed by a room full of quiet tears, was incredibly powerful.

Yet what struck me most was how the day didn’t become about sadness. It was about honouring Ryan while still choosing joy — choosing to celebrate love, friendship, and togetherness. There was a real sense that everyone had come not just to witness a wedding, but to lift each other up.

Speeches That Had Everyone in Stitches (and in Tears)

Jack’s two best men didn’t hold back. Their speech was a proper rollercoaster — packed with embarrassing stories, all delivered with the kind of cheeky affection that only lifelong mates can get away with.

And just when everyone thought they’d made it through with dry eyes, they paused again to reflect on their friend Ryan.
There was barely a dry eye in the room — but again, it was a moment that brought everyone closer.

Why I’ll Remember This Wedding

I’ll remember how the guests made me feel part of the family. I’ll remember golden evening light falling across the fields as Lauren and Jack shared a quiet moment together. And I’ll remember how fiercely this couple and their people loved — not just each other, but everyone who couldn’t be there too.

This wedding reminded me why I do what I do. It’s not about perfect poses or staged smiles. It’s about real people, real connection, and making sure nothing important gets missed.

Thank you, Lauren and Jack, for trusting me with your memories. I’m so glad our paths crossed.
