The venue boasts beautiful grounds with an iconic horse chestnut tree, quaint canal bridges, and a bluebell-carpeted woodland in the Spring months, making it the perfect setting for treasured memories and photographs.

Wedding Services:

The team at The Moat House Acton Trussell offers the freedom to design your wedding day your way.

They work with you to make your dreams into realities, providing four ceremony spaces to create your preferred atmosphere. Exclusive use of the venue is available from 11 am on the day of your wedding until 11 am the following day.

Preparation and Photography:

The Library is a private preparation room for the wedding party, including hair stylists, makeup artists, photographers, and videographers.

You can also take unique photos on the tranquil terrace overlooking the lake before the ceremony.

Wedding Spaces:

The Moat House Acton Trussell offers three stunning wedding spaces with different styles, including modern elegance, rustic charm, and boho chic.

The Colin Lewis Suite, perfect for intimate weddings, seats up to 70 guests and is located on the first floor of the oldest part of the building, the Farmhouse, under historic oak beams.

The Orangery, flooded with natural light, seats up to 80 guests and provides a beautiful romantic atmosphere.

The Lakeside, ideal for outdoor weddings, can accommodate up to 130 guests and offers picturesque views of the Lakeside Pergola.

The Acton Suite, a blank canvas room, can accommodate up to 130 guests and provides magnificent views over the Staffordshire countryside.

Church Ceremony:

If you prefer a church ceremony, Acton Trussell’s 800-year-old Anglican Church is only a few hundred yards away and can accommodate up to 100 guests.

Catering:

The team at The Moat House Acton Trussell provides culinary delights for your wedding breakfast, offering two, four courses, or a roast hand-carved at the table. You can discuss your choices with your wedding concierge.

Accommodation:

Retreat after your big day in the Wedding Honeymoon Suite, featuring a stunning wood panelled wall and lovely views over the picturesque lake and landscaped gardens.

The venue also provides other rooms with four-poster beds and oak furniture. Additionally, there are 40 bedroom choices available, accommodating up to 92 of your guests.

Choose from executive doubles, luxury suites, twin rooms, or flexible family options. In the morning, you can share a freshly cooked or continental breakfast with up to 30 of your guests in the private dining room.
