Wedding Venue: The Mill Barns

The Mill Barns is in the heart of the picturesque Shropshire countryside and sits on the banks near the River Severn and is part of Ensarb Estates that also include, Pendrell Hall. The Ashes and Foxtail Barns.

This rustic style barn wedding venue imbues an incredible atmosphere as if you are floating on water.

Accommodation at The Mill Barns

This brand new waterfront Mill Barns venue has three beautiful oak framed rooms and luxury accommodation onsite, which includes accommodation for the Bride and Groom and 22 rooms,including 3 accessible rooms exclusively for wedding guests.

The Mill Brook Rooms have 5 en-suite double  rooms and 2 family rooms. Guests can take in the lovely views across the gardens and over to the Paper Mill Brook.

You can relax before the ceremony with a glass of bubbly in The Dressing Room which is comfortably lit with lots of mirrors, extra-tall hanging hooks and make-up stations. This room is available on your wedding day from 10.30am. 

The Mill Barns Features

The whole venue is located within 8 acres of landscaped gardens plus gorgeous water features, there is a unique path leading to three outdoor terraces.

The Guest Lounge is elegantly furnished with comfortable sofas and cosy corners to mingle with old friends before and after the wedding celebrations, and is free to enjoy throughout your stay.

There is a private car park.There is a unique walkway which takes you over a stunning footbridge towards the grand double door leading to The Mill Stone Barn.

This Ceremony Barn has exposed timber oak beams overlooking The Mill Pond for a wonderful wedding ceremony to take place.

Indoor and Outdoor Ceremonies at The Mill Barns

The Mill Wheel Barn is licensed for civil ceremonies for up to 170 guests. There are three interconnecting wedding barns so whatever the weather turns out to be you and your guests don’t have to go outside if they choose not to.

But if the sun is shining on your special day you can hold your wedding ceremony on The Terrace with the backdrop of the peaceful waters of The Mill Pond.

There is ample room to accommodate any musicians you may hire to play throughout your outdoor ceremony. 

Guests can enjoy the drinks reception in The Stone Mill Barn or out on The Mill Pond Terrace and enjoy the scenery,while you explore the grounds for those special photographs. 

Evening Reception at The Mill Barns

After the drinks reception you and your guests take your seats for your tasty wedding breakfast meal in The Mill Pond Barn.This is a very relaxing space to share your ‘Design Your Own’ meal with your beloved family and friends, whether this involves 25 or 170 guests.

No set menus are available, you have the option of choosing dishes to suit your personal preferences, which may say something about you, or as a couple be related to a special place visited or a memorable occasion.

Evening reception in The Mill Pond Barn has a romantic ambience of colourful lighting, with its stylish bar, oak-sprung dance floor and band-ready stage.

Sparklers are allowed to be lit on the tarmac at the front entrance, in the garden and on The Garden Terrace but not anywhere near the wooden decking.

Enjoy the Luxury Wedding Night Suite that is exclusively yours with a delicious breakfast in The Breakfast Room the morning after your wedding. What a package!!
