A rustic barn wedding venue within the borders of Staffordshire and part of Ensarb Estates, which also include Pendrell Hall, Foxtail Barns and The Mill Barns.

This venue boasts of lush green lawns, beautiful borders, a delightful lake and pond with an apple orchard, wheat fields, babbling brooks and wild bramble hedges.

With magnificent views of the surrounding countryside, even Highland cows may grace your photographs. 

Getting Ready at The Ashes

The Dressing Room on site is yours from 10.30am for your wedding preparations.

This room has high chairs and natural lighting, which is then your private area to use for your complete day.

Ceremony at The Ashes

Ceremony Barn has The West Barn licensed for civil weddings for up to 150 people. It has stone walls, high ceiling and exposed beams reaching up to the Juliet Balcony where live musicians can play during the ceremony.

Chairs can be arranged to suit your style and number of guests, with lots of personal touches that can be added.

Outdoor Wedding at The Ashes

The Coach House offers an ideal space for an outdoor wedding. There is the option to make your vows under the elegant old stone archway with guests enjoying the occasion on the formal lawns. 

The drinks reception usually lasts about 1 hour and a half after your ceremony, and is the way to relax with a canape or two and a celebratory drink to whet your appetite for the wedding breakfast to follow.

Biodegradable confetti is allowed at this time.

Wedding Breakfast at The Ashes 

The Wedding Breakfast Barn is the East Barn which has a stunning stone archway entrance, into the banqueting hall.

This space has exposed oak beams, rustic stone walls, a polished oak floor and wrought iron features. They can cater for from 30 to 150 guests.

At the end of the wedding breakfast meal the bar upstairs opens up and the chance to enjoy drinks and dancing can commence.

Evening Reception at The Ashes

Evening reception starts with the First Dance and lots more entertainment, and the Bar will be open until 11.45pm.

Overnight Accommodation at The Ashes

Wedding Accommodation is available at The Ashes. Choices include: The Country House which has 5 double Suites or The Shepherds Hut, The Coach House. The Wedding Night Suite for the Bride and Groom is included.

There are also choices of cottages and nearby hotels for guests to take advantage of.
