I was privileged to be a Foxtail Barns wedding photographer when I shot a wedding there at the end of 2021. You can see examples of the photos I captured to illustrate the features of this new wedding barn.

This venue is set in the 70 acre estate of Consall Hall Gardens Estate and within secluded woodland in the natural countryside of Staffordshire.

The Barns form part of a chain of Best Day Ever Wedding Venues brought to you by Ensarb Estates, which is a family run business with the simple aim to make sure you have the Best Day Ever!! Their other sites include Pendrell Hall, The Ashes and The Mill Barns.

The main entrance of Foxtail Barns has a comfortable welcoming atmosphere for guests to relax, or they can mingle outside in the gorgeous walled garden that is colourful in summer months and landscaped with foliage in the winter time.

Bridal Dressing Room

The Dressing Room is an elegant space with beautiful furnishings and lots of natural light coming in through the skylights above.
There is access to a private changing room coming off the main dressing room to enjoy some peace before your big day starts.

Groom’s Preparation Room

There’s also plenty of on-site options available for the men to get ready. Why not book one of their Woodland Lodge at The Tawny Hotel, which is literally a minute’s walk from the ceremony location, and is situated along a secluded woodland path?

There are 20 to choose from for you and your guests, with the last one dedicated for the Bride and Groom’s use.

Inside it has a cosy ambience with a super king-size bed, comfortable furnishings and luxury for your wedding night accommodation. 

Wedding Ceremony in The Orangery

The ceremony will take place in the stunning, natural-lit Orangery, boasting of rustic charm, and natural timber features, which also is a botanical themed room with capacity of up to 150 guests.

The Oak beams and glass roof plus a wall of glass along one side makes this space come to life, bringing the views of outside in.

Walled Garden and Surrounding Area

After your ceremony you can lead your guests to the magnificent Walled Gardens where the in-house catering team Jenkinsons will provide a celebratory drink and canapés.

This stunning area has original 18th Century red brick walls fragrant herbs and wildflowers, making it a perfect setting for photographic opportunities.

As a newly wedded couple you can explore the natural beauty of the surrounding gardens for intimate personal photos. There are five lakes, lots of mature woodlands and more for your unique wedding photographs.

As a Foxtail wedding photographer you won’t find me asking you or your guests to do silly things like jump in the air. No! I’ll let you all just be yourselves while I capture the real story of your wedding day from start to finish.

Wedding Breakfast

Your Wedding Breakfast is held inside the stylish double-height, vaulted ceiling party barn, where you can design your own bespoke wedding menu with endless choices of dishes, platters and fine-dining options available. From a three course meal to something a bit more inspirational, the choice is yours.

Evening Reception

Evening Reception takes place in the Party Barn which has a spacious dance floor, festival lighting and a romantic vibe. The Potting Shed Bar will supply your guests with drinks until the end of the day, when all music stops at midnight.

Your Evening Food can consist of Bowl Food where guests can walk around with their bowl of food and enjoy interacting with all the guests, without waiting in a queue for buffet style food.

Also on offer is Hog Roast Baps succulent meat on a soft floury bap. What could be better!!

When The Sun Goes Down

There’s still plenty to enjoy once the sun has gone down. Why not savour the memories of your day by going for a leisurely 5/10 min stroll together throughout the grounds of Foxtail Barns and The Tawny Hotel?

Guest Accommodation

Guests can stay onsite in The Tawny Hotel and enjoy fine dining in their Plumicorn Restaurant, an iconic architectural statement overlooking the 70 acre site. There’s even an outdoor heated swimming pool to enjoy the views too.

Other onsite accommodations available include Woodland Huts, Lookouts, Treehouses, Boathouses and Retreats.
