It was a pleasure to be invited again to photograph another Botleys Mansion wedding, as this was the second time I’d been there.

The fact that it rained for most of the day never mattered, as they have lovely and spacious indoor rooms for guests to mingle freely.
Charles and Tanya live in Gibraltar and had to arrange their wedding from abroad. Fortunately, they gave themselves plenty of time and managed everything beautifully and efficiently. I was also able to offer a few suggestions from my list of recommended suppliers.

From the images below, you’ll be forgiven for thinking this was a winter wedding, as you’ll see Father Christmas makes two appearances. One after the ceremony at the church. Then, again during their Botleys Mansion wedding reception. But this wedding was in in the middle of June!!
So why Father Christmas in June?? Simply put, Tanya loves everything to do with Christmas. So Charles decided to surprise her by booking her favourite person to appear during the day. You’ll clearly see how shocked she was, especially during the evening reception.
Another surprise for everyone was the 3 Waiters. They look like waiters. They act like waiters. Until they start singing and get everyone singing and joining in the fun. Brilliant way to get the fun going during a wedding!
