That is the most amazing thing ever… as you know I did not cry on the wedding day but that got numerous tears.

I cannot thank you enough for the day because everyone absolutely loved you as a person and you are so talented!

You’d expect a winter wedding to be cold and damp, with poor lighting. But not this wedding celebration. On one of the warmest winter’s day Rebecca and Ryan tied the knot at Mottram Hall.

Ryan was certainly expecting cold weather, as he and his lads wore tweed suits to keep themselves warm. But they were roasting! Not that they were complaining, as the day was gorgeous from start to finish, as everyone enjoyed themselves immensely.

As usual, I started with the morning preparations for Rebecca and her girls then flitted over to capture some of the men getting ready in a nearby room of the venue.

Because of the minimal hours of light for a winter wedding, most of the events were planned to happen indoors. The fabulous indoor decorations, which were a feast to behold, was done by Alison from Lasting Memories. She certainly knows how to add the “WOW” factor to the lighting and decorations! She comes highly recommended if you want that something extra for your indoor decorations.

Ryan, Rebecca and their guests we’re a great bunch, up for a laugh at any time. It’d be an understatement to say everyone had a fun time through out the day. From the morning through till the evening there was much laughter and joking around. Hopefully you’ll get a flavour of that from the images below.

Their Mottram Hall Wedding Story In their Own Words

BEFORE THE WEDDING

How You Met: Ryan came into the shop I worked at… he then continued to come in every week until I agreed to go for a drink – haha.
How He Proposed: We went to Wales on a family holiday in March 2017 for what I thought was my mums birthday. Ryan took me for a walk as he wanted to go to a point of beauty which was a viewing point looking over a lake and Snowdon. He then pretended to take a photo of me facing the mountain and when I turned around he was down on one knee. When I got back to the converted chapel we was staying in Ryan and my family had organised a party to celebrate which included presents and a cake (my fav, haha)

RECEPTION

Reception Place: Mottram Hall
First Dance Song: The Whole of the Moon – The Waterboys
Cake: Bloomsbury Wedding Cakes
Colours: The main colours were nude, blush and rose gold
Decor Elements: Blush pink blossom trees for centrepieces which were incredible and ALOT of candles. The décor was by Lasting Memories. Alison was honestly amazing and the day would not have been the same with-out all of the decorations and Alison herself (she even sorted my dress out for me before I walked down the aisle)
Unique Details: The room dressing had everyone blown away – including myself and I’d been planning it with Alison for 16 months. Also our tables were names after the Kardashians as I adore them and we wanted the wedding to be very us (well me – haha)

MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT

Rebecca’s Answer: Cutting the fake tier on the cake! Trust us!
Ryan’s Answer: Seeing Rebecca when she was walking down the aisle.

HONEYMOON

Place: Mexico – Hotel Xcaret – Seriously the most amazing place ever!! This was a present off my older brother for our wedding present. WOW.

WEDDING ADVICE

Ryan’s wedding advice would be to not fight the tears because they are coming regardless. My wedding advice would be to enjoy every second – it is the most incredible day so do not stress about anything. Our wedding felt like a party all day and there is not a moment I am not smiling or laughing.
