Spring Rural Wedding Venue

I knew I was in for a treat with this new venue that I recently came across. So I’ve been looking forward to attending and inevitably sharing this Bordesley Park Farm wedding for some time since I shot it in April.

Bordesley Park Farm in Beoley Vale, Worcestershire is an exclusive wedding venue surrounded by 500 acres of beautiful countryside giving the perfect backdrop for a wonderful wedding. They have a converted oak-beamed barn for civil ceremonies, seating up to 125. Plus they have a large marquee seating 200 guests over looking the countryside.

I loved all the little areas for guests to explore and wander around, which made for great informal documentary images. This included a garden swing called a Princess Swing and a sunken trampoline. As you can image, children and adults couldn’t get enough!

What added to the beauty of this day was the weather. It was a glorious sunny day from the start to the end, which I loved capturing, especially during the golden hour.

Jamie and Lizzie’s Wedding Day in Brief

You may remember Jamie and Lizzie from their pre-wedding shoot. Despite Jamie saying he hated being photographed you’ll see he did well again! This is the advantage of hiring a documentary wedding photographer who desn’t take over the day with endless posing. Instead I want you to be yourself, relaxed and as far as possible unaware of being photographed. It’s my job to naturally capture your day as a silent observer.

As usual, the day started with the bridal preps in the morning. I then left ahead of Lizzie to photography Jamie at the wedding venue greeting his guests and waiting for his bride. Then I captured all the different angles and happenings throughout the day until the end after the sun had set.

I hope you enjoy viewing their images as much as I enjoyed shooting this wedding.
