This Castle venue offers exclusive use for civil ceremonies and receptions. There is The Great Hall with Tudor and Stuart furnishings, and this room can seat up to 45 guests, or 34 for a more intimate reception.
If you need more space for your guests, there is a silver/white marquee available, which can seat up to 120. This has state of the art chandeliers and a starlit dance floor which can accommodate the sit down meal. There are also fairy lights that run around the ceiling which creates a very romantic space for your guests to enjoy. There are also adequate luxury washrooms available within the marquee, and ample parking space nearby.
There is a Bridal changing room, for morning preparation purposes only.
There is also a Helipad for those wanting to arrive in style.
Confetti is permitted and also outdoor fireworks.
The castle is a romantic venue with gorgeous views, making it perfect to impress your guests as they’re served champagne and canapés before the wedding breakfast takes place in The Great Hall or Castle marquee.
The castle offers Midnight Weddings with ceremonies being conducted by torchlight in the grounds and with the floodlit Norman Castle ruins under the starry night sky.
There are in-house caterers and a fully staffed bar. With the evening entertainment DJ and band facilities available.
There are no accommodation facilities on site, but there are plenty of nearby places to stay.
