Wedding Venue: Mythe Barn

This barn wedding venue is contemporary and rustic within the countryside of Leicestershire. Mythe Barn has magnificent views of the rolling hills and meadows overlooking the River Sence, a perfect rural setting for your special day.

They’re licenced for civil ceremonies both indoors and outdoors.

Bridal Preparation Room

The Bridal Preparation Room has two unique spaces to get ready in for your big day. The Gallery has a glamorous room for makeup, hair preparation and dressing. There is also the Minstrel Gallery.

Honeymoon Suite

Mythe Barn offers a honeymoon suite, The Hayloft with its roll top bath and distinctive features for you to enjoy, while your guests can relax in one of their seven overnight stay luxurious guest rooms with en-suite bedrooms. They’re all beautifully furnished and decorated to a high standard.

In the morning you and your guests can enjoy a continental buffet breakfast in The Stable. This space can also be used for the groom to relax before he meets his bride.

Wedding Ceremonies

Mythe Barn has a 3 options where to get married. Two Indoor and One outdoor.
Indoors you can get married the in their impressive brick and timber Oak Barn which has a seating capacity of up 150 guests.

The Oak Barn has solid oak beams, with full height windows and skylights. Contemporary chandeliers add a romantic touch and hops hanging from the balcony brings the outside in.

If you’re planning a smaller wedding, and feel your guests would look out of place in the large Oak Barn, then their bright and contemporary Grain Store is ideal.

Outdoor ceremonies can be held in the garden, which has a romantic oak Gazebo in a gorgeous setting of manicured lawns and can seat up to 150 guests.

Drinks Reception at Mythe Barn

Following your wedding ceremony, take your guests to The Cart Barn for your drinks and canapés reception. 

This space features an elegant stone floor, sky lights and oak beams. Or The Courtyard which can be lit in the evening for guests to relax and mingle if they want to stay outside.

On summer evenings you can enjoy a barbecue on the fire pit.

Alfresco Dining

The Outdoor Kitchen for Al Fresco dining can be enjoyed too, as you can watch the on-site catering team rustle up delicious evening food while you wait. Whether you’d like wood-fired pizzas or barbecue food. Thus you can enjoy the summer evening with wine and dancing.

There are exposed oak beams, with fairy lights and lots of space to sit and chat with evening heaters to keep the atmosphere warm and cosy.

Wedding Breakfast

Then naturally walk your guests to The Grain Store for your wedding breakfast. This stylish area offers a blank canvas for you to put your own colour and theme. 

There are wall lights and ceiling drapes and the space can accommodate intimate weddings of 50 guests or up to 150 for larger gatherings. This can then be turned round into a party venue for your evening entertainment.
