Located in Telford, Shropshire, Madeley Court is a 16th-century manor house that maintains many original features and boasts a lot of character in its decoration.

Outside, the hotel is surrounded by beautiful grounds and balancing lakes, which offer memorable photographic opportunities and run alongside the Silken Way.

Licensed to Hold Civil Ceremonies in Multiple Locations

Madeley Court is licensed to hold civil ceremonies in several locations, including the Priory for 50 guests, the Mill for 150 guests, the Lakeside Bar for 100 guests (outdoors), and the Courtyard for 40 guests (outdoors).

The private courtyard is perfect for outdoor ceremonies, with the historic Gatehouse creating a stunning backdrop, and the Mill barn has exposed brickwork and wooden beams, which make for a rustic feel.

A Stunning Venue for Wedding Celebrations

Within the hotel’s grounds is The Mill, an ideal venue for wedding celebrations that accommodates up to 150 guests for a wedding ceremony and up to 230 for an evening reception.

The venue features charming oak beams, a unique spiral staircase, and plenty of romantic vibes, surrounded by lovely greenery and wildlife.

Delicious Menus and Elegant Accommodations

Madeley Court offers various wedding packages, including Classic, Luxury, or Complete, all of which include bed and breakfast and a complimentary 1-year anniversary stay.

Guests can indulge in mouthwatering menus that include canapés, starters, mains, desserts, and evening finger buffets.

The hotel also has the Priory Restaurant, which features an open fireplace, gorgeous high ceilings, and a bar and lounge to relax in.

Guests can choose to stay in a standard room, an executive room, which is more spacious, or a themed room, with views overlooking the rose garden, lake, or parkland.

The hotel also has historical rooms with elegant furnishings and four-poster beds.

This comfortable space can sleep up to 10 guests, has a kitchen and living room, four bedrooms, three bathrooms and a secluded garden with an eight-person, wood-fired hot-tub for you to soak away any pre-wedding nerves.

Whether you’re set on an indoor or outdoor ceremony, Madeley Court can cater to your needs. They’re licenced for civil ceremonies in three beautiful spaces. They even have a 14th century church onsite.
