This beautiful 18th century historic Georgian style country house in the heart of Herefordshire, is a family run venue which hosts civil ceremonies both intimate with canape reception through to a full weekend occasion.

The weekend package includes use of all the reception facilities and accommodation within the grounds. You can book from Friday 9:30am through to Sunday  12.30pm.

If you want to book this venue for a shorter period for a weekday wedding, they also have offers for shorter hire periods from 4 hours on either a Tuesday or a Wednesday.

For a church wedding St Bartholomew’s, Much Marcle, All Saint’s Church, is at the end of the parkland 1000m from Homme House.
This has a 400 year connection with the house which boasts of a famous 1000 year old Marcle yew tree which has a hollow trunk and is ideal for a unique photograph. 

Reception rooms here have over 5 acres of gardens and grounds, along with 180 acres of parkland and woodland that gives plenty of space to explore and be creative on your wedding day.

There are patios and benches to relax and enjoy the scenery around this stunning venue.

Fireworks are not permitted due to the livestock on the estate but sparklers can be enjoyed as part of your evening fun.

Indoor Weddings at Homme House

Homme House has three gorgeous ceremony spaces available for you to choose from. The Panelled Room,The Dining Room, or The Hall.

The Hall with capacity of 25 is just right for intimate ceremonies along with an elegant flying staircase.

The Panelled Room, which hosts up to 80 guests, is a light filled space with a Jacobean fireplace.

The Dining Room is the largest of the spaces and can hold up to 110 guests. It’s unique features include a beautiful chandelier and lovely bay window overlooking the garden area.

Outdoor Weddings at Homme House

Homme House also accommodate outdoor weddings with a choice of 3 special areas to choose from. The Summerhouse, The Lawn and The Woodland.

The 17th century Summerhouse offers a backdrop for a walled garden ceremony for up to 110 guests, with intimate ceremonies in the Upper Chamber.

The Lawn can be used too for outdoor ceremony hosting the parkland and wooded glade as a backdrop.

Woodland ceremonies are also an option under a canopy of beech trees in the 80 acres behind the Walled Garden area, and is, perfect for a outdoor humanist woodland wedding.

Whichever option you choose, Homme House will always have a backup plan, should the weather not be favourable.

Bridal Suite

The fantastic Bridal Suite is light and airy with stunning views of the gardens and parkland which has an adjacent Bridal drawing room for wedding day preparations.

Wedding Breakfast

As a corkage free venue, you’re not tied to their drinks list, so you can source your own drinks to exactly suit your taste. You can choose your own menu and caterers from an afternoon tea on the lawn, hog roast picnic or wedding breakfast banquet it’s up to you.

Evening Reception

You can organise a variety of evening entertainment for you and your guests to enjoy. You choose your preference from something like: a murder mystery, a casino table, a bucking bronco or sparklers. You can enjoy these as part of your special celebration with up to 120 guests.

A pay bar can also be arranged if you don’t want to provide all the drinks. Evening music and dancing can take place in either The Dining Room, The Panelled Room or in The Library for a more cosy environment to chill out by the fire.

You can even arrange evening food from street food vans at the front of the house to nibbles.

Accommodation

Guest accommodation is available on site for up to 32 guests, so they can be assured of a nearby place to retire at the end of the day.

Their Main Suite accommodates 2. There are a further 8 double bedrooms in the Main House. The Coach House has another 4 double/twin ensuite bedrooms plus an additional sofa bed allowing the house to sleep up to 10 in total. Finally there’s a Summerhouse available from May to September and sleeps 2.
