Situated on the borders of Cannock Chase countryside in the town of Rugeley, Hawkesyard Hall offers an idyllic setting for your wedding day. This 18th-century Grade II listed building combines romantic and Gothic architecture and is enclosed in almost 200 acres of parkland, creating a picturesque atmosphere. With elegance, charm, and character, the interior decor is rich with history, while the vibrant gardens outside provide fantastic photo opportunities.
Exclusive Use of Hawkesyard Hall’s Lister Suite
For exclusive use, Hawkesyard Hall offers the Lister Suite for your civil ceremony or drinks reception. This room features a grand chandelier and floor-to-ceiling windows, creating a light and airy ambiance. The ceremony capacity is up to 120 guests. Located in private grounds with beautifully landscaped gardens, this venue is perfect for hosting your special day in its entirety. With an experienced team dedicated to making your day perfect, Hawkesyard Hall ensures that every detail is taken care of.
Versatile Spaces for Your Ceremony and Reception
Licensed for up to 85 people for a civil ceremony, the hall can also cater to up to 120 guests for the wedding breakfast and evening festivities. There are several rooms available for hire, including the Armitage Suite within Hawkesyard Hall, the Parkland Suite at the Golf Club, and the Orangery and Grounds.
The Armitage Suite is a bright room with a private bar, ideal for your wedding breakfast and evening reception. For larger celebrations, the suite can accommodate up to 200 guests for a marquee wedding. Please note that the ceremony rooms do not include a registrar; this would need to be arranged prior to your wedding day.
The Ornate Orangery and Garden Bar
There is a magnificent, ornate Orangery Garden Bar surrounded by well-manicured gardens, statues, and other outer buildings. For your wedding breakfast, the Armitage Suite with its private bar provides a welcoming space for your evening reception, typically hosting around 40 daytime guests and 80 evening guests.
Exceptional Catering to Delight Your Guests
The talented catering team will prepare an array of mouth-watering dishes for your wedding breakfast. From a traditional three-course menu to a remarkable hog roast, there are plenty of options to suit your taste. If you prefer to create a bespoke menu, the team is happy to accommodate for a small supplement per head.
Add a Spectacular Touch with a Firework Display
To finish your wonderful day with a burst of color and extravagance, you can arrange for a spectacular firework display. This added touch will make your celebration even more memorable for you and your guests.
Luxurious Bridal Suite and Guest Accommodation
As the newlywed couple, you can indulge in the Bridal Suite on-site on the night of your wedding. Situated on the ground floor, it features a roll-top bath and a grand wood-framed bed. The suite has its own private entrance that leads out onto the lovely gardens. With rich colors and a luxurious bathroom, this room exudes opulence and comfort. In the morning, enjoy a delicious breakfast before starting your new journey together.
Hawkesyard Estate also offers five beautiful bedrooms for your guests, providing the perfect overnight accommodation where traditional styles meet modern comforts. Your guests can relax and refresh themselves in style after the celebrations.
