I’M A VENUE RECOMMENDED PHOTOGRAPHER
This Warwickshire Hall and Barn wedding venue includes a 16th century Tudor Hall which has been tastefully decorated while leaving original features such as wooden beams and open fireplaces. This makes it perfect for an intimate indoor wedding ceremony of up to 70 guests.
The Courtyard Bridal and Honeymoon Suite is a newly furnished magnificent room both for preparation available from 9am with all the modern conveniences, and for your wedding night. In addition there are 4 double bedrooms all with their unique style and décor for your family and friends to stay overnight.
Gorcott Hall is also licensed to hold outdoor ceremonies for up to 110 guests in their courtyard to provide a lovely setting for your wedding.
Because they only hold a limited number of weddings per year, you’re sure of getting the owner’s Allie and Mark’s personal attention for your wedding planning.
The gardens are set in over 5 acres of lawns and terraces and a beautiful lake, creating many areas for your guests to wander and explore, plus provide many memorable photo opportunities.
Around the pond are 400 willow trees, with the addition of a large hippo bobbing up above the water. See if your guests can get a glimpse of him.!!
One of my favourite areas in Gorcott Hall is the south facing adjoining field making it ideal to enjoy a glorious sunset.
Anyone who knows me knows how much I love photographing during the golden hour. I find the quality of the light always transforms the look of an image into something special.
This is also another opportunity for the bride and groom to have some quality time together for 5 or 10 mins, while I make the most of the glorious weather.
If you don’t fancy the 100 yards walk to the field, the fact that the whole gardens of Gorcott Hall is south facing too, the sumptuous garden or patio area can also be used for a quick set of golden hour photos.
The 19th century Barn is a gorgeous setting for your wedding breakfast, which seats up to 110 and boasts beautiful views into the gardens. Also this is an adaptable room for smaller weddings of 30.
Gorcott Hall have their own chef, and he will work with you to rustle up a delicious wedding menu. From rustic heart-warming dishes to superbly plated courses, the dedicated team will create your perfect wedding food.
The ground floor of the hall is ideal for your drinks reception, which leads to the terrace from the French windows where on a warm day your guests can mingle with their canapés and champagne.
For evening festivities there is a fully licensed bar, large dance floor and space for a band or DJ. In summer months this space can hold up to 140 guests, and in the winter months a maximum of 120 is recommended.
If you’d like more information on Gorcott Hall, feel free to get in touch as they’re kind enough to recommend me on their list of “Friends of Gorcott”.
