A stunning historic venue within the town of Birmingham is in the beautiful, leafy setting of Edgbaston, and belonging to Birmingham University.

You have a choice of 2 locations to get married:

Hornton Grange: A beautifully restored red brick Edwardian style residence set in a peaceful garden. Has oak-panelled features ornate ceilings, and archways with a sky-lit extension. Has charming period features and boutique décor, plus landscaped gardens. Seating capacity of 88 guests for wedding breakfast and up to 150 for evening reception. You can add a bit of elegance with treating your guests to canapés, BBQ, Pizza buffet, or hog roast in the pleasant surroundings.

The Fry Suite: This site can be customised to suit your personal preferences. Up to 180 guests for ceremonies, and 250 evening guests can be accommodated here.

This Suite can be turned into a unique space with either a bold festival theme, or a vintage vibe.

There is red carpet treatment on arrival, a spacious dancefloor, then at the end of the day a double bedroom awaits you upstairs.

Catering for both Asian and Caribbean weddings too, you can feel right at home here along with your family and friends.

Edgbaston Park Hotel Wedding Photographer

It’s always lovely to get some feedback from a couple after shooting their Edgbaston Park Hotel wedding. This was what I received from the wedding below:

Now we have the pictures, I am just blown away, they are perfect! Clive has managed to capture key moments of our day that we can look back on and treasure forever.

Yvonne and Robert

This wedding was at the start of the lifting of lockdown, so only a handful of guests were allowed, but they certainly didn’t allow that to stop them having a good time celebrating!

As usual I started with the bride’s preparations in the morning, and it was lovely to capture some touching, tender moments as Yvonne gave out personalised notes for each bridesmaid and her father.

Then it was off to see the nervous groom at Hornton Grange, where they were holding their wedding ceremony and evening reception. But I saw no sign of nerves!

The arrival of the bridal party is a lovely time to capture some natural, storytelling images. That’s when I saw the groom nervously checking his watch to see if his bride is still coming (he tried to hide his nerves, but I captured it!)

The red carpet is a nice little extra touch for the bride’s arrival through the historic Hornton Grange.

The spacious garden is a beautiful area to relax and enjoy your drinks reception.

This is what I was referring to earlier about the lighting. There’s so much natural light, it brings the outdoors inside, especially as the doors on the right can be fully opened up.

Then it’s time for the speeches and party in the evening.
