Nestled in the picturesque village of Weedon Bec, Northamptonshire, Dodmoor House offers a unique and enchanting setting for your wedding day. This converted barn venue combines rustic charm with modern elegance, providing a perfect backdrop for your celebrations. Exclusive use of this Grade II listed property ensures a truly memorable experience for you and your guests.

A Perfect Blend of Rustic Elegance and Modern Comfort

Dodmoor House features beautifully refurbished barns set amidst four acres of stunning grounds. You can choose to work with local suppliers or bring your own, including caterers, to tailor your wedding to your personal taste. The barns, dating back just over 400 years, have been stylishly converted by Mark and Louise Bradley, earning accolades such as Countryside Wedding Venue of the Year and Barn Venue of the Year at the Hitched UK Wedding Awards.

Ceremony Spaces

Courtyard Barn: This intimate and romantic barn is perfect for your civil ceremony. With a capacity for 90-100 guests, it boasts natural light from five glass double doors that open onto the patio, ideal for summer weddings. In the winter, underfloor heating and sparkling candles create a warm, cozy atmosphere.

Catesby Barn: For your wedding breakfast, the Catesby Barn provides a stunning setting with its oak floor, wooden beams, and elegant Juliet Balcony. The space, which accommodates up to 180 guests for evening festivities, is adorned with fairy lights and heart-shaped candle holders. Connected to the Mezzanine Bar, it offers a flexible area for mingling, chatting, and dancing.

Luxurious Accommodation

Honeymoon Suite: After your celebration, retreat to the luxurious Honeymoon Suite featuring a contemporary four-poster bed, exposed beams, and a seating area. The en-suite bathroom provides a perfect space for relaxation and pampering.

Dodford Room: Adjacent to the Honeymoon Suite, the Dodford Room serves as a spacious and well-equipped dressing room for you and your wedding party. It includes a high hook for your wedding dress, mirrors, comfortable chairs, and a toy box for children.

Culinary Delights and Extras

Dodmoor House offers a variety of evening food options, including a hog roast and burger bar. Choose from four daytime drinks packages, such as fun cocktails, hot winter drinks, a Gin Bar, or a Martini and Mojito Bar. Enhance your celebration with ‘Wow Factor’ extras like LOVE letters, a sweet shop, or a popcorn stand.

Nearby Accommodation

While Dodmoor House only has the Honeymoon Suite on-site, nearby accommodation options are available. The Mercure Daventry Court Hotel offers bed and breakfast along with transport for your wedding party. For a cozy stay, consider Lower Farm House, located on the edge of Dodford village. This charming house sleeps six and features a log burner for a comfortable stay.
