Georgian Mansion in Beautiful Shropshire

Located in the picturesque Shropshire countryside, this Georgian Mansion offers 80 acres of landscaped parkland with stunning views across the water meadows towards Ludlow. With striking architecture, breathtaking grounds, and contemporary facilities, this exclusive venue is perfect for your wedding day.

Bridal Suite and Ceremony Options

Prepare for your special day in the luxurious bridal suite. For your ceremony, you can choose the Main Hall, which boasts beautiful lake views. After the civil ceremony, enjoy drinks and canapés on the lawn, or opt for an outdoor ceremony under the wedding Pagoda, accessible via a charming pathway with space for up to 150 guests. The walled lawn offers seclusion and intimacy, and a harpist or string quartet can enhance the atmosphere as you walk around the water feature.

The Coach House and Stables

The Coach House, converted in 2007, is dedicated to wedding ceremonies and celebrations. It offers stunning views over the grounds and features original beams, a neutral color palette, and full-height bi-fold doors. The elegant glass balconied mezzanine is a popular choice for ceremonies, with dining taking place on the ground level. The Coach House and Stables can accommodate up to 130 guests for the wedding breakfast, with additional space for up to 100 guests in the mezzanine for ceremonies. The Main Hall, with its French tapestry and large chandeliers, creates a romantic setting for memorable photographs.

Catering and Evening Festivities at Delbury Hall

The Ludlow Catering Company will cater to your needs, offering everything from canapés on the lawn to fine dining in the Coach House. Evening festivities can include a hog roast in the Courtyard, with the gardens and fountain beautifully lit up for a romantic ambiance. A fully stocked bar on the ground floor is also available, operated by the catering team.

Accommodation

The venue provides 10 bedrooms in the converted Stables, accommodating up to 22 guests. These rooms, allocated exclusively to the bride and groom’s families, offer a tranquil retreat with elegant décor, antique furniture, and stunning views over the lake and lawns. Delbury Hall is not a hotel, so all available bedrooms are booked through the bride and groom.
