Cripps Barn is an exclusive-use, 18th century Cotswold stone barn wedding venue that offers both indoor and outdoor wedding celebrations for up to 150 guests in the day and 200 in the evening.

Exclusive use of a historic wedding barn set in the beautiful Cotswold countryside in the heart of Gloucestershire. It boasts of beautiful gardens overlooking rolling hills. It has rustic beams, flagstone floors and open fireplace all with traditional Cotswold stone features. 

This wedding venue holds civil ceremonies in the main barn, which has a medieval chandelier, a huge candelabra and 2 large entrances bringing in light from the Oak Room.

This space can accommodate up to 150 guests for ceremony and dining in the barn’s Oak room.

The barn has underfloor heating, roaring fires,and candles for a lovely warm glow.

A large terrace has views over the fantastic Cotswold countryside, leading to the woodland garden that has fire pits and a large bonfire.

Outdoor ceremonies can be held in the woodland glade where there is a gorgeous Oak  Pavilion and canopy within the stunning gardens. For evening reception capacity is for 200 persons.

In house chefs will cook flame grilled food on a giant rotisserie and BBQ grill. Cripps Barn is famous for bbq’d lambs sirloin bricks or Butterflied leg of lamb. Alternatively there is rotisserie chicken, suckling pig or duck.

The main barn transforms into a spacious dance floor after dinner where guests can celebrate up to 1am.

Indoor ceremonies are held in the main barn with it’s unique features of a medieval chandelier, a large stone fireplace, a huge candelabra and two huge entrances bringing light in from a large terrace on one side and the sun-filled Oak Room on the other.

Although there’s no onsite accommodation available, there are plenty of choices in the local area where to stay.

For example Hotels: Barnsley House – 3 miles away. Pubs with rooms: The Stump – 2 miles away.

Many bed and breakfast choices too: Cotteswold House – 1.5 miles away. Hidden Acre Hut – 2.7 miles away.

Or guests could choose to camp in the grounds of Cripps Barn.
