Wedding Venue: Coton House Farm

This farm wedding venue is situated in rural Staffordshire and dates back to the 16th Century.

It’s an exclusive-use venue provides an idyllic setting for any rustic-themed wedding celebration. It’s natural light, oak interior and natural decor allows you bring your own special theme and creativity to personalise it to your preference.

With a complete bridal/groom preparation suite, “The Stables” is the ideal place to start your day.

Licenced to hold civil ceremonies both in The Oak Barn and The Old Dairy Barn.

The Old Dairy Barn has hanging chandeliers and a black limestone floor, complete with its own private courtyard for drinks reception.

Access is from 9am or can be earlier if arranged.

You can hold your drinks and canapés reception in The Old Dairy Barn with its private courtyard before going with your guests onto The Oak Barn has light-flooded space  and high ceilings and a polished floor and terrace area for your wedding breakfast. 

The Main Oak wedding barn has a large glass fronted dining area that allows around 120 guests to be seated comfortably for your reception.

The Pig Sty bar has an open plan design situated at the back of The Oak Barn, which is fully loaded for your enjoyment and where there is a separate outdoor space for those wanting to relax away from the dancing.

In house caterers work in the Hay store kitchens preparing gorgeous meals from local produce, including their very own Aberdeen Angus Beef from their own farm. You can have the menu with your own personal preferences which the staff will work with, from fine dining to barbecues.

In the outdoor terrace and garden area are fire pits for a warm, romantic glow to the evening reception and fairy lighting. Evening capacity caters for up to 220.

Live bands are allowed, but fireworks are not permitted as Coton House Farm is a working farm with live animals to consider.

The venue is licenced until midnight.

Confetti is permitted. 

There is no onsite accommodation available but the city of Litchfield has lots of good hotels nearby.

There is a helicopter landing access.
