Beautiful Gardens and Elegant Design

Broadfield features five acres of gardens connected to fields, making it perfect for garden games or simply relaxing. The house, with its linear design, boasts south-facing gardens and two massive lawns. Inside, you’ll find original wood-panelled walls, stucco ceilings, and roaring fires in nearly every room, combined with the comforts of a boutique hotel including comfy beds, huge showers, and snuggly sofas.

Ceremony and Reception Options at Broadfield

Choose from several gorgeous spaces for your ceremony at Broadfield, whether outdoors or indoors. For larger outdoor ceremonies, consider the beautiful fold yard, stunning woodland, sun-filled lawns, or the apple orchard, with options for open air or a canopy decorated with fairy lights. Ceremonies can accommodate up to 170 guests, with the possibility of moving into a marquee or tipi in case of inclement weather.

Indoors, the Drawing Room can hold up to 60 guests, offering views of the David Austin Rose garden through a full-length bay window. The inner hall, with its ornate stone fireplace, can host up to 50 guests. If you choose to marry elsewhere, Broadfield is also available for receptions, providing a bespoke experience tailored to your needs.

Dining and Evening Festivities

For your drinks reception and wedding breakfast, Broadfield’s large south-facing terrace is a favourite spot, leading into the rose garden and grounds. In summer, you can enjoy the views with the sides of the marquee or tipi up, while in winter, fairy lights, heaters, and indoor fire pits create a cosy atmosphere. For weddings of up to 75, the low-beamed upper barn offers a charming dining space with crisp linen on round tables or informal trestles.

Local Herefordshire caterers provide delicious options for your special day, from formal three-course menus to relaxed barbecues or bespoke sharing experiences. You may also use your preferred caterers. For the evening reception, enjoy the spacious bar and explore Broadfield’s gardens, play croquet, or take photos in the rose garden. As the sun sets, relax by the fire pits and toast marshmallows while soaking in the romantic ambiance.

Accommodation and Additional Features

Broadfield offers nine lovely bedrooms, each uniquely styled. These include two super king beds, six king-size beds, and one double bed, with en-suite or private bathrooms. The elegant Bridal Suite features a wood-panelled master bedroom, a modern bathroom, and a dressing room ideal for the bride and her bridal party. This room can also be converted into a ninth bedroom, with four extra put-up beds available to accommodate up to 22 house guests, plus cots if needed.
