This venue is set in the Staffordshire countryside and has six cottages for hire which sleeps from 10-32 guests, in the 16 bedrooms. The names of these cottages are Little Grebe, Widgeon, Heron, Swallow, Mallard and Kingfisher.

All have been tastefully decorated with original features of oak wooden beams and romantic overtones. Any one could be used for bridal party or guests to get prepared in.

There is a function room to hold civil wedding ceremonies. Receptions can be held in either a marquee or tipi. Or if you prefer, for larger gatherings or for smaller weddings, a party tent can be put up on the patio of Heron, the largest cottage on the site.

All of these spaces can be decorated and designed to your own specifications. Just add those twinkly lights for an extra romantic vibe.

They all have spectacular views of the Blithfield Reservoir which is a 750 acre lake, overlooking the rolling hills of the organic farm backdrop.

Indoor or outdoor wedding options are available.

Confetti is permitted if it is a biodegradable type.

The dining capacity for the various spaces is 150 guests.

Suppliers can include such things as: paella pan, hog roast, or an ice cream bike to suit your taste as the bride and groom.

Couples can choose their own caterers, bar and evening entertainment. 

Loud music in the tents can be played up until midnight, then after that time the music needs to be quiet background music only. Music is allowed in the new function room until 2am.

Sparklers are allowed, but firework displays need to be arranged with the owners as they are a fire hazard and can scare the animals as this is a working dairy farm. Chinese lanterns are not allowed at all.
