The Thatch Barn

The Thatch Barn which was restored in 2016, has an open fire place at the end of the walk down the aisle.This space has retained the original oak beams, sandstone floor, floor uplighters, beam lights, and beautiful chandeliers. You can have candles in the original air vents in the barn walls, to create a romantic feel to your ceremony.

Confetti is permitted but it has to be real flower petals. 

After the ceremony you can mingle with your guests on Apple Tree Lawn or Cider Lawn for drinks and canapés with the landscaped surroundings and gardens to admire.

Bridal Preparations in The Potting Shed

The Potting Shed is an inviting, creative space for the bride and her maids to get ready for the day ahead. There are some original features: from the makeup table made from wooden pallets to one of the farm ladders that is incorporated in the overhead lighting, with flower pots that are now lights.

This is a natural space with colours such as terracotta, pale pink and white bringing beauty to the atmosphere.

There is a luxurious shower room included with 3 well lit makeup stations, full length mirrors, a tiled entrance porch, vintage saddle racks and bridal hooks to hang your dresses on. In addition there is soft seating with an antique sofa, modern white tractor stools around the coffee table and sheepskin rugs all designed as a relaxing place for preparations. 

There is a separate Bridal Porch just for the bride to get dressed in with a few mod cons thrown in ie: microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster to help get the day started smoothly.

Hayloft Honeymoon Cottage

There is a stunning, secluded private Hayloft Honeymoon cottage for couples to stay overnight.

Orchard Barn

The Orchard Barn has 3 divided unique spaces where you and your guests can enjoy canapés in the stylish bar area to the dining space with high ceilings, for the wedding breakfast.

There is a helical staircase plus a comfortable mezzanine Snug area for guests to relax with a drink.

On-site caterers will work through your design menu as to your requirements. Catering will accommodate from 50 intimate weddings to 150 seated or 200 standing capacity. 

The evening reception has stunning food options served up in the Walled Herb Garden behind the Moon Gate, next to the Hayloft Cottage.

Chefs will cook wood fired pizzas to a barbecue feast, or Chinese wok food which can be served indoors or outside weather permitting.

The whole venue site needs to be vacated by 11.30pm.

There is onsite accommodation available for your guests – 7 carefully designed ensuite bedrooms, just a short distance from the Orchard Barn.
