In the midst of the current COVID-19 chaos, it was lovely to receive the following thank-you letter to brighten my day. It was from my last 2019 wedding, at Ettington Park for the lovely Daniel and Amy.
Dear Clive,
Words can’t express how impressed we are with your photography skills and the way you captured the most important day of our lives. From the very first Skype meeting you were attentive to our special requests and needs and you helped us understand the gist of unobtrusive documentary style photography. We had no idea what this style of wedding photography was beforehand, but we are so glad we chose YOU who delivers it so beautifully. Thank you for capturing our moments so candidly and authentically. You were like a secret agent, scooting around so quietly that we barely ever knew you were around which made for such honest photographs. Our favourite photographs are the ones at the church,these photos are so precious to us. Even in a tiny chapel with limited space and tight corners you managed to artfully capture the essence of the hour exquisitely and with 100% discretion.
