Ellie and Matt’s wedding was one of those days that felt wonderfully relaxed from the very beginning.
They celebrated with their family and friends at Ashton Lodge, with plenty of laughter, emotion and all those little unscripted moments that make a wedding completely their own.
I spent the day photographing things as they happened, from the anticipation before the ceremony through to everyone settling into the celebrations afterwards. There was very little need to interrupt any of it. Ellie and Matt could simply enjoy their wedding while I concentrated on telling the story around them.
Here’s a little first look at their day while I work on the full collection.
These are just a handful of photographs from the day. There are plenty more moments to view, including the people, reactions and little bits of the story Ellie and Matt may not even have realised were happening around them.

Planning a Wedding That Feels Like You?
Your wedding does not need to feel like a photoshoot.
My approach is centred on quietly documenting the people, interactions and fleeting moments that make the day personal. We can still include the family photographs that matter, but I keep them organised and efficient so you can return to enjoying your guests.
