“These are just absolutely stunning, we couldn’t have asked for more. We love all the moments you’ve captured throughout the day, thank you so much for your hard work, it’s been such a joy to look through them all”

When Sherie and Darryl booked me as their Grafton Manor wedding photographer I was excited for 2 reasons: First, they’re such a fun-living couple and I knew I was in for a treat photographing them enjoying themselves with their family and friends. But also, as I’d not been to Grafton Manor for a while, it was great to be back to this lovely 16th-century Elizabethan manor house in rural Worcestershire.

Grafton Manor is now a listed building and contains a hotel and restaurant. As an added treat, the adjacent St. Michael’s chapel for wedding ceremonies allows you to have everything in one convenient place.

I love this venue so much It’s now listed amongst my list of Best Wedding Venues in the West Midlands.

Sherie and Darrly made good use of all the facilities as they both got ready there, had their ceremony in the chapel and hosted their wedding breakfast in the adjoining marquee where they also partied the night away.

Brief Summary of their Grafton Manor Wedding

Emotions were certainly running high during this wedding. It varied from from jubilation to tears. For example, you’ll see how happy Sherie, Darryl and their guests were through out the day. You’ll also see at one point Sherie’s father was overcome with emotion and had to walk away to recompose himself. Then while giving her speech, one of the maids was overcome with tears.

I love weddings like this! Real emotions, real stories, real memories to look back on.

You know how unobtrusive and relaxed I am about the photography, hating to get in the way and being the centre of attention? I had the pleasure of working with a videographer who works in the same way. If you’re looking for a relaxed videographer check out Agne Zubyte of Agnes Wedding Films.

Towards the end of the day we both were in for another treat when there was a glorious sunset as Sherie and Darryl walked about together in the sumptuous manor grounds during the beautiful golden-hour, my cameras where given a beautiful gift to record that evening!

I could waffle on, instead I’ll let their images do the talking. Then you can read their comments about their journey which lead to me being their Grafton Manor wedding photographer.
