How to Find Your Perfect West Midlands Wedding Venue

The West Midlands is a treasure trove of some of the country’s top wedding venues. These popular, beautiful and often all-inclusive bespoke locations vary in type from the rustic barn venues, city-centre industrial venues, all-inclusive 5 star country house mansions, through to the romantic castles and hotel wedding venues.

There’s nothing like inside knowledge and I’m more than happy to share my more than 35 years experience as a Birmingham wedding photographer, shooting weddings in and around the area.

When looking for your ideal wedding venue in the West Midlands area, you’ll find there are hundreds to choose from, all within various budgets, maximum capacity, features etc. But where do you start looking for YOUR perfect wedding venue?

You could ask friends, wedding planners, or try to remember somewhere you’ve been before for either a meal or someone else’s wedding. Wouldn’t it be great if you had a list to choose from, to help narrow down your choices so that you can then later on refine it with the above suggestions?

That’s where my free interactive venue finder for West Midland wedding venues will come in handy for you. You’ll be able to narrow down your selection by area, venue capacity, type of venue etc.

Perhaps you’re planning a small, low key and very intimate wedding for a handful of guests. So the venue must allow a diy approach to wedding organisation, so you can have an outdoor micro-wedding celebration in a small marquee or tipi, plus there must be onsite accommodation for you and your guests.

On the other hand, are you planning your wedding from abroad and are looking for a destination wedding in the West Midlands? Then my guide will point you to the various types of venues available and what facilities they have available.

Don’t forget too, if you’re planning a secret proposal and so wondering: “Where can I propose in Birmingham or the West Midlands?”, my interactive guide can also be a useful resource if you’re looking for a romantic place to pop the question and which also has a suitable place to have a meal together afterwards!

If you need any further information on these venues, e.g. which ones are good as a summer wedding venue? Or, which is ideal for planning a winter wedding? Which is a trendy wedding venue, which is suitable for planning an Asian wedding celebration? etc. just get in touch and I can help you out.
